Last night, after having to spend the evening calling around for plumbers that could come unclog our main line (so, a little frustrated), it continues to pour down rain and when little Daisy went out for her last "pee" before bedtime, she came in drenched to the bone...we laughed about how wet she was but then, to my horror, Jus was drying her off (both water AND mud) with my brand new Sand colored Mary Jane's Farm organic bath towel!!!!! AAAGGH!!!!

The reason I bought new towels, aside from just wanting the oh-so-cool Mary Jane's Farm towels, was because all of the OTHER good towels I've had, Jus has used for...wait for it....DOGS.

What is it with husbands and towels? Lucas ruined ALL of my holiday kitchen hand towels one year (they were brand new too)...he thought it made perfect sense to use them in the shop cleaning up a paint spill. What were they thinking?!?

Meg, you can say GRRR then, too. Seems like we all can!!!!

I think that's it...they just don't think :) When I said "Why? Why? are you using that towel?!" His response was, "it was in the bathroom!!!"
OOOOHHHH. Now it TOTALLY makes sense ;)

Well, you know, they are from Mars and we are from Venus. Their tunnel vision sees 'towel', while we see 'Organic, beautiful, soft Mary Janes Farm' luxurious bath towel! LOL!

You said it, sister! I'd say Jus is from Pluto, but they've taken away it's planet status :)

I haven't met a male of the species yet that cares about the difference between a nice towel and a rag. Jeesh!! I hope your towel turns out okay. Sounds like something that would happen here. I only have two of the MJ towels so far and I made a big old deal..called the whole family together and showed the THE towels and said..these are MY SPECIAL TOWELS> dont' touch them..not for anything..anything!!! They all looked at me like I was a total dictator..but they have left them alone. For now anyway. But there ARE three males in the house..so I have to keep on my toes..haha.

Yes, I think Lucas' reply to ruining the holiday yowels was, "well, Christmas IS over." Did he think we get new towels every year!

Bless your heart Jonni! Pretty lucky here with my hubby. Usually I'm the goofball who accidentally has a red washrag or something in with the whites. OOPS! (Yeah I did that today, but caught it early...)

Meg I'm cracking up over the "I thought Christmas was over with..."

Jenny, maybe that's it...I didn't make a big enough deal out it. I thought, for sure, that the texture of the towels would SURELY denote the difference in "good towel" vs. "dog towel" You know, that and the fact that our dog towels are fuschia (with bleach spots), and multitudes of other "retired" bath towels that have gone by the way side in various forms. I could see how he would be easily confused :)

Miss Wilma is lucky--from what I know from her, Sterl must be an angel sent from heaven (who needs another song in his repetoire :)!!!!

Goofy boys!!!!!
