I got my order in the mail yesterday (yipee!!) from Baker creek seeds. I am so thrilled with their seeds. One little problem though...they accidentally sent me two packets of lemon cuke seeds and left out my pickling cucumber seeds. I won't complain since I am not THAT worried about it. Would have been more concerned if it were one of the unusual tomato or pepper seeds that I ordered..harder to find for sure. But..if any of you are interested in lemon cucumber seeds and want to trade them for a packet of pickling cucumber seeds I would love that. If you havn't ever had lemon cucumbers..they are wonderful..about the size and color of a lemon when done and very light and refreshing..perfect for salads or just eating with salt..yum! They are my favorite and my grandma always grew them for me. But..no way I can use two packs of the seeds..not enough space. I like to plant lots of tomatoes and peppers and a little bit of lots of other things...so one pack is plenty..
Jenny I don't have pickling cuke seeds to exchange, but if you don't get a direct offer to swap, I have a few different heirloom tomatoes, 8 kinds of peppers and tons of other seed that I would be willing to swap. Anything else that might interest you? Di
That would be fun Diane!! I got Ferris Wheel pink tomatoes, Egg red tomatoes and Brandywine and Yellow pear right now and have Marconi, and Anaheim pepper seeds so far. I would love to find some banana pepper or cherry pepper seeds or unusual bell peppers, or Roma or paste type tomatoes. I love to trade seeds.
