Loved it, thanks Jenny! One more thing to do with leftover french or italian bread: slice , freeze and you have the base for some DELICOUS french toast or breakfast casserole (especially if you think it's been in there too long!) Bon Apetit!

Meadowlark, thanks for sharing that article, I too, have been trying to convert to a green kitchen over the years, but now it's cool to be thrifty, FINALLY !!!!!!!
