Hey gals...I am needing to find some country curtains for our living room. Do you have a favorite website or catalog to look for some reasonably priced curtains. I would do them myself, but knowing my luck, they wouldn't turn out how I would like them to. We have a large double window in our living room.
Thanks!

I make mine, If you sew they are not hard to make I brought some 100% cotton, wide eye lace for the edging Measured the wide of the windows Hemed them ; put the lace on them, and you have curtains I made my kitchen one too. I have a huge window over the sink I had to used the regual cotton material and sew 2 widths. I also made valnaces for them, I found some seed pack material, I love them I am hoping that they will fit in my new kitchen I made a pair for my walkin pantry too I forgot about the sun and the sun took almost all of the color out of the curtains in there But, I leave the door to that closed. I had a glass window in my door that you go out on the inclosed back porch too. This is a old house and the windows odd sizes. Pinkroses

Jessica - I get the Country Curtains catalogue and they have a website, but can be pricey. Their curtains, however, are such nice quality, and last forever. You can find a lot of their curtains on Ebay for very reasonable prices.

Thanks guys for posting those links. A little bit more pricier on a few of those than what I saw today here. I just found some curtains for our home office and got curtains for the other rooms already. Having a tough time deciding on the living room. I have pink roses wallpaper border and then our couch has a blue floral with offwhite (the border was the original with the house.) Right now I have one of those white scarfs and hate it up there. We have shades and usually keep them pulled and the bottom half of the window are shutters from the inside. I'll try to get a photo up to give you an idea. May need some decorating ideas. :) I was thinking checked pattern but then I thought it would be too busy...then I was thinking plain color, but I dunno what color to put up there.
I tell ya what girls...I'll definitely take a photo of my windows with the wallpaper border & my chair in front of them is the same pattern as my couch. Maybe I can pick your brains on a pattern. I'll try to post it up tonight or tommorrow.
Oh I did see a couple of curtains I wouldn't mind for my guest and master bedroom, but I just bought curtains for there. I did bookmark those websites on my favorite links. :)
