Once again, a big thank you to my Farmgirl sisters. I really think your love and good wishes and prayers and blue light have held up these past few weeks. Stuie is showing signs of getting better. He told me when he feels anxious he goes to the stationery bike and pedals away until he feels better. Yesterday he said he pedaled about an hour. I told him when he comes home he will be a new man inside and out. I brought him a book he had requested from the library about sacred geometry and when I asked him how it was he went into a whole lucid discourse and analysis, something he couldn't begin to do last week. I thought he wouldn't even pick it up, but he not only picked it up but read it. He also said he watched some History channel on the community TV.

I brought him in a bath sheet (he loves those) and a nice face cloth and an Italian scented soap for his shower. Any little comforts are appreciated and I'm going slow. He sees his psychiatrist today and then I will talk with the psychiatrist and see what's up.

I feel very hopeful. He looks a million times better. I'll let you know how he does as we go along. I'm sure the medication coupled with our spiritual work (prayers, blue light, good wishes, etc.) are working wonders.

love,
Patricia

PS Meggie, I got your email about Stella and Josephine. I don't remember if I answered you, but if I didn't I want to tell you that it really made my day. The thought of that little girl carrying around her Josephine all day and only letting her dollies play with her that day was so precious. Thank you.

Patricia-

I am so glad that Stuie is feeling and looking better! He is doing a WONDERFUL thing by exercising when he is anxious as that will release the natural endorphins to regulate his moods. He sounds like such a sweet and loving man. Especially working so hard to help his mother who was non too kind to him. It tells me that he thinks first and foremost about others before himself. It reminds me of women who give give give to others and never take time for themselves.

I know that this has to be a trial for you, so very hard. But perhaps this is like the butterfly struggling to break through the cocoon. The fight and struggle for Stuie might just rub away the rough edges and the brilliant shine of the diamond underneath will show through.

I have Faith that he will come through this physically and mentally whole, as will you! *lots of hugs*

You know you can call me anytime day or night if you ever need a friend to talk with.

Stuie is an amazing man - he is as kind and giving as Patricia. He just hasn't been himself for quite some time. But he is in a good place and I'm so happy that he's making progress already! Can't wait until the new and improved Stuie gets to come home.

Stuie came home last night and went into the day program this morning. He's calm for the first time in his life. Literally. And he has to get used to it but he likes it. It's so good having him home again. He was even singing along to the American Idol contestants. It'll be interesting to see what he has to day today. Again, many thanks for all you've done for us.

love,
Patricia

Patricia,
So glad that Stuie is home with you. Sometime it just takes the right amount of a prescription drug to help make a sufferer's life no longer a living hell. It's hard for those who don't experience this or have a family member go through it to sometimes understand why a person can't just "snap out of it." I wish Stuie and you good health, happiness and many many many years together. You are always here for us with your help and wisdom and we care about you both.
