For some reason I have found that I love quilts. I already have 2 that are old from fam and 1 my auntie made me when I graduated high school, but I just can't get enough, the more used it looks the more stories I feel it has. As soon as I get more $ I'd like to collect more. I saw one at the fleatique for 65 but I don't wanna spend that right now. I know not bad at all!

Hey Bridget.
Why not take up sewing and quilting
You can make them "Look old" if that is what you are into.
That way you can have more.
Oh, be carefull when you are buying quilts.
Some of the ones that say "Old" are not very old
But, I guess you already know that.
That was good that you have those already.
Good luck at getting more. Pinkroses

Bridget, I am a new quilter. I am working on one by hand right now. But tomorrow will have a bobbin winder so I can use my machine again. I was looking through a quilting book last night and realized that my problem is that I get overwhelmed with a whole quilt. I could never do that- I tell myself.. But I could try 1 square! So I have resolved to try my hand at every square I can.. I can then put together a sampler quilt when I have enough squares! 1 square at a time. I am also doing mini quilts.. I have a whole wall above my bed that I plan to fill with mini quilts. I even found 1 at the thrift store for 50 cents! The whole middle is embroidered- cats! All different cat type things.. then the fabric around it is balls of yarn- the fabric on the back is the cutest cat fabric ever- which you never see :-) crazy.. should have used that on the front- but I love it nonetheless and it will look good on my wall.. So take it one square at a time.

Blessings, Debra
