Well last night it seemed that I dreamed all night about selling lots of stuff and was getting a lot of money then when I woke up it was all a dream, then I got the mail and there was an envelope, so I opened it up guess what inside was a WHOLE dollar bill just to fill out a questionaire, I think I will frame that dollar, The first thing I thought was its about time something funny was happening here

Not just a silly dream Miss Wilma, I think that investing it is a GREAT idea, then all the money you make from your investment will be from your "dream investment" . It all starts with a seed!

Amanda, I used to say that any one that wouldnt stoop to pick up a penny wouldnt accumulate any thing, We started out with very little but have tried to live wisely, we arent rich and never will be but I do like to think we have done a lot with so little, fame doesnt mean any thing to me, I am just me it wouldnt matter if I was rich or poor, If I was rich I would just give it away anyway. Its great to have a challenge that I can do it.

I used to have printed on my checks "hold on to your dreams, they may come true". Guess I stoppdd when my prince charming turned out to be a grouchy old fa**. Sometimes. I am glad we remarried and know we do belong together 'for better or worse'. I pick up pennies all the time, they do add up. Used to have the grandson wrap them and we'd take them to the credit union, where I'd match the amount and it went in his savings account. Now that he's nearly 18, the few dollars aren't quite so exciting to him anymore. Miss Wilma, a dollar is a dollar and your dream did come true, just not quite as much as you expected or hoped for! Ronna I pick up pennies to, they do turn onto dollars, ITS amazing what we can do when we really put our minds to it,I know my thinking is not what it used to be but its not dead yet, the greatest challenges I have had is just to think up something and do it, I think you and I think kinda on the same ways

the saying goes, A penny saved is a penny earned, I think. Yes, I pick up pennies, they do add up and have helped put gas in the gas tank a time or two. Miss Wilma, I love that you got the dollar and the dream. Seed money is always a good thing. Ya never know where it can take you.

I always loved going into old country stores and restaurants and seeing the "first dollar" framed.

At the end of the day, I empty my change from my wallet and put it in a piggie bank. When the bank gets full, I take the money to a bank by me that has a change counting machine without any fees involved. You'd be surprised how much it comes out to be at times....over $100.00! Then I deposit that money in my account.

We keep a bank in the kitchen (shaped like a milk bottle) and the kids and I save all of our dimes, nickels and pennies there. (we use quarters for car wash, milk money for lunch and like that so we keep them separate) when that bank is full we dump it out on the family room floor (it holds about a quart) and roll the coins, and cash them in to get either something for the house or to pay for a fun day trip or activity somewhere. The kids love it..and we usually end up with at least $30 so it is fun. It is about 1/2 full right now so it won't be long.

I save my pennies, nickels and dimes and every year the coins are put into plastic Easter eggs which are hidden by the Easter Bunny. The grandkids have a great time finding the dozens and dozens of eggs. It is so much fun watching them figure out what that wascally wabbit did with the eggs and seeing the bigger kids help the tiny ones. Can you tell I can't wait for Easter to come.
