If you still need motivation to get factory meat out of your diet, watch this video. It's really awful. Beyond the horribly inhumane treatment of cattle (& poultry), diseased meat is being fed into the National School Lunch Program.

I saw this in a news blurb last week.

When it comes to animal stuff, I'm pretty tough, but this whole issuse is deplorable!

I heard the workers of that particular stock yard in TX were fired.

As for serving deseased meat? What ARE we thinking?!?

Yep, that's some pretty scarey stuff. Our school here was one of the ones affected. Luckily they had not used any of the bad meat yet.
