Not at all...I've never had one close enough to me to sniff, so I was very curious--I can totally get what you're describing and I bet I'd like it too :) I also like that Grace smells her Great Pyrenees and that they smell like corn chips. Right now, our pit mix smells like sour feet--and that's not a fave :)

I love when my husband has been working on the tractors or equipment. When I was little, my babysitter's husband was a mechanic and I'd sit on his lap at lunch or after work. They're both like my second parents.

When Keith comes home smelling like oil, grease and gasoline it reminds me of being loved and cuddled.

Me too. Annika, have you ever read a Natural History of the Senses by Diane Ackerman? I think you'd really like it...it's a non-fiction book, and her descriptives of scents are incredible.

I love the smell of horses, the smell of my mom's linen closet, the air after it rains, fresh turned soil, and mountain sunshine! :D

One of my favorite smells is the pine forests in the Adirondacks. It brings such peace to my soul. I also love the smell of water, be it pond, lake, or ocean. I love the earth when you start digging in the spring. All my flowers too. I like cinnamon and apple, gingerbread and pumpkin pie, vanilla, real or Yankee Candles! I am very much into smells. It will trigger memories for me more than anything.I have never smelled a pyhon,I might like that, but I know that when you grab a grass snake he does not smell good!! LOL

I love the smell of fresh cut grass, vanilla, cinnamon, and laundry on the line. Not all together or in that order, though! lol

Woodsmoke would have to be my favorite, but Jonni I just laughed when I read that you like skunk. I, too, enjoy the smell of distance skunk though if you'd hadn't said it first, I don't think I would have admitted it! LOL

I love the smell of my husband, he always smells good, wearing cologne or not. Babies, fresh cut grass, apples, lavendar, the ocean, peppermint, citrus, pine, my daughters hair, laundry on the clothes line.

I love the smell of wild roses blooming in the spring, I adore the smell of bacon, and the old fashioned vinyl smell of a new doll, my moms cologne.
