to the forum. I've missed you all and a lot of the new farmgirls sure don't know me. I broke my wrist in the middle of the summer and was in major pain. I had to type with one hand (actually 2 fingers) and got busy with work and life, blah blah blah. I have been lurking and reading all your wonderful posts, but I'm ready to jump back in if ya'll will have me.

Hey Debbie! As soon as I saw the post with your name "blueroses" I said, "I know that name". Glad you're back!I had strayed away from the Farm for several months, too, and now have made my way back to the comfort of the Farm Family. The gals are great.....just pick up where you left off.

Blessings
Catherine

Hi all,
Thanks again for my warm welcome backs!! It's been a crazy time. I apparently broke both my radius and ulna (the bone on the right and the left of my wrist!) And I can never do things unless I totally embarrass myself. We had our little 3 yr old grandson for the night and I slipped over the line at the bowling alley! Really tried to wing it down instead of using proper form. Instead of falling on my bum, I tried to save myself and somehow my wrist hit the center ball return thing really hard. I sat up and my wrist looked totally deformed. And it was off to the ER for a fun Friday night. My grandson loves to remind me when we drive past the bowling center. It just took a really long time to heal and I had to go to a physical therapist (right across the street from my office) 3x per week at first, then 2x and now I'm working it on my own. It's still tight on the ulna (left side) but gotta get it in shape for golf. I was a grumpy patient and my dh can't cook so gained weight eating hot dogs and hamburgers and bad stuff. I've been back to the gym teaching my spinning classes since the beginning of October and I'm lifting light weights now. My second grandson was born on Sept 7th and I was there!! Was really honored tht my dd & sil wanted me there and it was the coolest, most wonderful experience (aside from having my own children.) I read the paper one day in late September and didn't like the choice of candidates for city council, so I decided to run and I was elected in November to a 4 yr term. Crazy lady - like I don't have enough to do!! But I'm very honored to have been elected. I am so happy that I can knit, sew and craft again. I really missed you all, but I was here reading your wonderful posts. I'm going to try to keep posted about the trip to MJ's Farm in May. Maybe my friend and I can drive down for the day and meet up with some of you. We only live about 2 1/2 hours (I drive slow) from Moscow ID. I'm so glad to be back. Love you all.
