We met in August 2005 and married in October...yes two months later. We have been married for a little over two years...can I get a WOOT WOOT!!! I think I'm the winner for shortest dating period :)

We've know each other since the 4th grade. I thought his ears stuck out like a monkey's.  When we were 11, we started "dating" (in 1971). We married in 79. So...together 37 years. And he grew into those ears.

| I just posted this on the 'tag, you're it' in Across the Fence. Started going with my husband when I was 13 and he 17, married two days after I turned 16. Divorced him 7 years later and remarried him 26 years to the day from our divorce. That was 12 years ago. My cedar chest has a calligraphy front panel with both marriage dates on it. We both remarried twice and both had been married for 15 years when we reconnected...at his mothers house. I stayed close to her all those years and was in process of moving back to NV to take care of her when he decided to come visit her. We hadn't seen or spoken in 24 of those 26 years. One look and we both knew we still loved each other. Meant to be for us to be together, how else can it be explained. Both our spouses at the time agreed, surprisingly. His Mom didn't live to see us remarry, but knew we were back together. I learned about baking bread and needlework from her, starting when I was 8 years old. According to her, was 'the daughter she never had' and coming from her, that was a huge compliment. |

Well, I'm for sure the newlywed here I've known Thomas for 8 years and we will be married for 2 years on April 18 and I turn 50 years old in July...I tell everyone it took two other men and 30 years to find him...He's a jewel and my bestfriend forevermore!

On Monday, Feb. 11 we've been married 19 years and together for 21 years. It only took one other man and 15 years to find him but it was worth the wait. The best part? He's 12 years younger than I am--and they said it wouldn't last...lol

I think I've got Rebekah beaten on the shortest dating to marriage thing..I met my husband on Dec.5th 1989 we were engaged Christmas day 1989 and married January 27th 1990.
1 month and 22 days.Been married 18 yrs!

I met my husband in May of 1997, became engaged January of 1998 and got married in September of 1999. So together nearly 11 years and married a bit over 8. He's a bit younger than me... 7 years. I didn't marry until I was 35, I tell him I was waiting on him. He's my best friend too.

I've been with my hubby for 8 years and just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on Jan. 19th. I am ready for many more though. He's my hubby and my best friend :)

Met my Dh in 1994 married him in 2005 in our gardens on our property with his best friend officiating and family and friends surrounding us. My children were our witnesses. I need to raise my 5 children before I could marry him. My kids love him and he is my best friend. Thank goodness I had my first husband because it showed me how marriage should not be. Someday I will thank him for it!!!!!

Meet my dear dear dh in May 1983 and married in a sweet small ceremony with family in July 1983. Yep, 3 months and married 24 1/2 years. Ain't love grand!

I'm with Tina on the short engagement thing! We met in April 1987, got engaged Christmas 1987, and married January 22, 1988. We just celebrated our 20th anniversary. And he's 10 years older, I was 24 and he was 34 when we got married.
Yes, I had to wear a big winter coat over my wedding dress!

my high school sweetie & I meet in the summer of 1969, I was 16, he was 17... we married in 1972 and here we are going on 36 years & we are still high school sweeties. 
I can truly say I love him more each and every passing day.
