Kentucky doesn't believe in voting. No, I'm just kidding--but we don't have any super Tuesday voting here. Good for you for going, Tasha!

i agree with Sherri The whole thing seems like the lesser of all the evils. I can't believe in any of them from any party. I truly feel this country needs a business man not a lawyer, political yes man/woman, run this country like a corporation. Kathy |

I'm with you Kathy. The older I get, the less I care about social issues, and the more I care about my social security.

Our's isn't until next week. But I got my absentee ballot and have voted and mailed it off already. The only person that I'm excited about this year is Obama. I think it is so important to vote and make our voices heard. It is a right and a responsiblity! I kind of figure if I don't vote then I don't have the right to gripe about how things turn out.

Our caucus is on the other side of the county. It's an hour drive over the mountain on dirt roads in good weather and it just started snowing here with 9-14" expected again tonight. If I go down through Boise and back up the other side, it takes an hour and a half. I'm not chancing it. It's only a caucus and doesn't really count as far as an election goes. I WILL be voting in the Primary as well as the General Election, though. Isn't a caucus basically just a way for the candidates to measure whether or not it's worth it for them to continue spending millions to keep campaigning?

This is why I liked Ross Perot. Unfortunately, I wasn't of voting age at the time!

Kay - I feel like that too - I always have voted and taken pride in it. But, this year, I can't in good conscience vote for any of the candidates because I don't believe in any of them. If I voted just to vote, I would be feeling bad that I was abusing my privledge. I WISH there was someone I could support, but it's not going to happen this year I'm afraid.

I too voted for Ross Perot and I wish to heck there was someone like him interested now. Lee Ioccoa would have been a good choice too. I really don't feel like voting as any vote would seem to be a lie. I am planning to reregister too, as an independent just to show the large parties that I don't approve. Kathy |

Our primary was the first, so that has been long done for us. I like Hillary, but will vote for Obama if he is the chosen democrat. Sometimes I feel like we are voting more for the lesser of two evils than for a specific person. |

Congrats, Tasha. I've been watching but the results (at least on our station) from MN aren't in...what did you feel, what kindof vibe did you get? I'm so jealous of a caucus. We have the 1960's era curtained booth at the Vet's hall :)

The projections look good so far for Obama in MN. With 19% reporting he is already beating Clinton 59% to 34%.
As for the Republicans it looks so far like Romney, but for Rep. the reporting is only at 1%.
It's going to be a bit of a late evening!
We also voted on 6 resolutions, passing 4 of them.

That's great news...well, some of it I'm really happy for you and the exciting weeks ahead, Tasha. How COOL. You have to be the roving report, alright?

Sure thing! ROb and I were just talking because at the County Convention they choose the state delegates and then at the state convention they choose the national delegates. I would pee my pants to go to the national convention!
But yep! I'll be the roving reporter, the resident politico for the Liberals!!
It has been announced that Obama is the projected winner for MN! Huzzah!

Lisa,
Your slogan is perfect. And since the Reagan Library is only a few miles away, I'll tell Ronnie of your nomination next time I'm there. |

Have fun at the convention Tasha. I worked at our state Rep. convention when I was 18 as the page to the National Committee Woman. I've hated politics ever since. I was very disillusioned, very. Some of the things that go on behind the scenes are very disturbing.
I voted for Ross Perot too. This time I might vote for Ron Paul. I haven't decided.
