Today the forecast is for rain and 62 degrees, more rain, thunderstorms and 70 degrees tomorrow!???
I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by. ~anon |

It's pretty unseasonal here in Louisville, KY today, too. Rainy, with temps in the mid 60's. The bad news is more tornadoes are forecast. We had 4 or 5 here about this time last week. Of course, the weather guys missed that in the forecast and during their broadcasts, and we all sat in front of our tv sets instead of in our basements. No sirens, no nothing. My 86 year old father sat watching while the tornado tore part of the roofs off the 2 houses next door.

I saw primroses at the grocery store over the weekend. That means that Spring is coming to the Western side of the Pacific NW. In a couple of weeks we'll be planting pansies too. Oh joy!! Spring is just around the corner here.

Oh I do hope Spring is on it's ,,, 'cuz as I sit here looking out my window it is snowing! I was suppose to go Junktiquing (shoping) today with our dear miss past blessings but I called & canceled du to the snow...sorry, I am still a bit hesitant about driving in the snow after the last few mishaps. Just yesterday my DH & SIL helped tow out a lady whosecar went off the road and then another car went off right down the road as they were pulling the 1st car out. Ok, I am so ready for Spring even though it means watching the dear snacking on my tulips when the tulips poke their head through the ground.
Oh & heard that Every May Spokane has a Lilac fest & parade... i love Lilcas(as do the deer),,,maybe I will try my hand @ Lilacs as well as lavender.
Ok, off to play in the sewing room.
