christy, well today is the day i start on your little bunny
i need to know a few things from you:
color of bunny, this can varie from white all the way to black, and can even be a pastel color if you want. i think the natural colors look the best, but it is up to you.
do you want a male or female.
general color scheme of clothing, i think you wanted green shades.
i have fallen in love with the felted vest, like pamela has and i can do that in a variety of colors.
i am gonna experiment with little felted shoes but their feet are kinda big so we will have to see about that.
any thinkg else you want to tell me about yourself and home that would help me personalize her/him would help.
are you a knitter, book lover, painter, seamstress, crafter,, these things help me with their accesories.
thanks.
and i'll keep ya posted on his/her progress.

Yay! How exciting. I would love my bunny to be a dark brown if you can, green shades would be pretty or even if you have yellow (one of my fav colors). Hmmm some things about me.....I love antiques, books, crafting, quilting, primitives, and of course being a momma :) I hope that helps ya.

Thanks a bunch!!

I can't tell you how excited I am about my bunny! Just the fact that you are thoughtfully and lovingly creating her and she won't have a "Made in China" tag attached to her tushy makes it even more special :)

i feel really lucky to get to stay home and craft...and be able to help out with my grandkids. they are here about 5 days a week for different amounts of time and according to whatever work schedule their parents have.
and crafting is my way of saying, buy mom and pop. of course when you stay home as you know you dont have that extra paycheck, but i also try to buy from crafters too, when i have the cash to do so.
i have been eyeballin some soap from our very own farmgirl dalyn. she makes goat milk soap that sounds yummy and she is having a special this month.
i am excited about your little bunny, and have some fabric picked out i will post a pic of it. it is mostly yellows, but they are bright colors, she says she likes the brights. let me know what you think.

christy below you will find a stash of fabrics that are suitable for your little bunny. i will try to describe them and what i think they could be used for :

the fabric at the very top is a felted wool and would be suitable for a sweater.
all of the other fabrics would work for a dress or skirt and blouse, etc. the little embroidered piece i think would work well for the apron and the bright plaid would be great for a little shawl or scarf or even as an apron, but i would still use the embroidered piece on it probably for an apron.
if anything jumps out at you either yea or nay let me know.
oh yes there is a piece that is white with little pansies on it. it would work as a dress of apron. just give it some thought, if you dont care i will just pic them out. but i wanted you to see all the choices so you could decide if you wanted to.

the night before their long journey, the little bunnies had a grand send off.

it was not an easy journey, they said there good-byes,

they traveled over some rough terrain

until they were out of sight

and just a fond memory.
