Ok, Miss Wilma had a post about being a lady, and my momma is that. She doesn't swear, smoke or drink, and she goes to church every Sunday...
Well, one day, someone backed into our car in a grocery parking lot, and by all rights she could have said a mouthful...but she growled and howled and all she came out with was "Ooooh! I'm SOOOO MAD I COULD SPIT!!!!"

My MIL has two funny expressions, but they are "colorful", so beware! Words have been changed.......
"He's meaner than cat poop."
"He just pooped in his nest!"

Miss Wilma, do i still have time to play? it is 2pm Sunday afternoon here in Calif. here's my favorite: *my Auntie used to say she wouldn't leave my Uncle because she'd just be... "trading a nosepicker for a butt scratcher!"
here's some of my runner up's... *my hubby refers to water as "nature's greatest solvent" and says "if you're not bleeding, you are not working" whenever i start to bleed... *I say "not the sharpest tool in the garden shed" when referring to a dolt. or, "his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top" which means the same. *When i am mad I quote Larry, Daryl and Daryl of Newhart fame & I say "I'm so mad i could stomp bunnies!" *FROM jAN KARON'S mITFORD BOOKS I LEARNED "peedaddle" which means dang, drat or darn *My Pop says "wAGAFRITZ" BECAUSE he doesn't curse. He learned it from the POGO in the comic pages of the newspaper as a kid. this was very fun. will submit more if i think of any. love, karen

My FIL would say to someone who had dyed their hair or lost a lot of weight, or changed their looks somehow - Why, honey,I hardly recognized you - if I had seen you on the street, I would have passed you like a freight train passing a bum!
And my daddy never said a curse word, at least not when we could hear. He would just shake his head and say real quiet "Judas Priest."

I have heard people say the meanest, nastiest things about one another but as long as there's a "Bless her heart" after it, all is ok!

Or my husband's favorite, "Does a bear poop in the woods?"
Means the same as Chessie's.

My hubby said, I am finer than frog hair.
And its hotter than 2 squirrels screwin' a wool sock And the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. and colder than a step mother kiss. and raining harder like a cow peeing on a flat rock
