I was expecting to see a pic of the two of you. WOW! This one hit my chest like a ton of bricks. So precious. So intimate. So deep. So caring.
I've seen one of the gals siggy's that says "That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger" I usually giggle at it and think about my (sometimes) screaming kids or other little inconveniences. But, today, I think of you. Julia, you are incredible. Aria is a miracle and her siblings are warriors. Blessings to all in your family.

Good does pour out of the bad - though you and Aria are struggling, you are at the same time blessing each one of us with your strength and love. God bless you both, and I pray for Aria's strength and yours too. What a wonderful photo. I have tears of ache in my eyes, but there is joy in them, too. You are amazing.

Tears fill my eyes,and I am amazed/appalled/awestruck at this picture:
Amazed at the love and caring expressed by two sets of pigtails entwined in the shape of two hearts.
Appalled that a side effect of the treatment of this awful disease must rob us of our glorious locks when we need every bit of strength and self-confidence that we can muster.
Awestruck by the sheer beauty and poignancy of this photo, and of the true courage expressed by Julia and Aria.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful, although bittersweet moment of reflection this morning.
