I've posted a poll on my blog - no, I'm not asking who you are going to vote for - but I am curious to know how many farmgirls look at a candidate's environmental policy when making a decision.

Please stop by my blog and vote!

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES is a BIGGIE for our family. Hank was an Environmental Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Our darling daughter followed in his footsteps and is an Environmental Attorney in the OHIO Attorney General's office. If we don't take care of our earth .. there will eventually be no earth to take care of! xo

I definately believe in our environment also ,but if you ever have an issue you will be surprised at what you have to go thru to get the goverment to do their job, I can show you living proof of that but I won, When I got done with them the govenors office and the Sierra club was all contacting me

I'm not a big fan of government interference in business or well... anything. So typically if a candidate is very involved in environmental issues, he/she is pro-Big Government. Obviously this isn't the case every single time though.

That said, I'm an environmentalist. I do things on a small level- cloth diapers; medium level- recycle old furniture with new paint rather than purchasing new and on a big level- we just spent $25,000 on a drill to plant no-till crops.

tree hugging hippie chick here! I am not a fan of massive capitalism (little business yes, large corporate america thanks to the industrial revolution...notsomuch) and that seems to be the biggest contributor towards our environmental decay as well as our health decay as a nation. they all go hand in hand.

I do look at it, I'm not some radical and I'm not someone that sits on a log waiting but I tend to like someone that at least mentions and wants to better it. Right now due to my situation I'm into health care and education. I think as a nation we need to take action with a movement. Not really the global warming but um look at our cleaning products and our waste....
