A friend just sent me a bunch o' yarn, silly girl...

It's 50% acrylic and 50% wool, and looks like maybe rug-ish or a thicker worsted weight...

What would you suggest I do with it? Do you think it would make a decent rug if I have enough of it? Or other ideas?

It looks pretty vintage, I don't even recognize the labels. Almost like semi-antique yarn. :-)

thanks

You could make some really warm slippers

Oooh, I really like the slipper idea. A friend of ours had a birthday this week and he tried to hide it from us. I traced around his feet (size 15!) and he could definitely use some slippers. If I can figure out how to make them sort of non-slippery on the bottom, I will be all set...the other ideas are good tooo...might have enough to do several. THX
