Hi farmgirls,
Perhaps this cleaning method has already been discussed; if so, it's a great topic to bump!
We have a chrome kitchen faucet (Peerless) & in the 10 yrs we've had it installed, we've had to replace all the gaskets & "O" rings more than once from the mineral build-up. (Peerless replaces @ no charge) It's gotten to the point though, that the chrome no longer looks good from the mineral build-up, but I don't/won't use harsh chemicals. I called Peerless to get new chrome & was surprised to learn that I could get the mineral build-up off by heating distilled white vinegar & pouring it over a towel wrapped around any chrome part that had mineral build-up. WOW!!! Really works. It may take more than one application, but no scrubbing & the stuff comes right off! Awesome, looks nearly new!

I'm off to get the vinegar! Our water is so hard here you almost have to chew it. THANK YOU!!! How long do you leave the towel on, Chandra?

XOXO, Libbie
