OH MY!!!!!! more wonderful memories to add to my memory bank! we met daughter Wednesay and family up above Cincinnati (Sharonville, OH) for a three-day weekend of fun at a Sheraton Hotel that has a wonderfully huge 'waterpark'. First time i've seen little Sofia (16 months) .. "at the beach" .. she is quite the little 'water-bug' .. NOTHING scares her!!! LUCAS i swear, must be part fish!! he would have stayed there running from slide to slide all night had it been open all night! Hank and I stayed up late one night snuggled in the bed with Prince Lucas and watched "INTO THE WILD" .. i did have to cover his eyes a couple times .. but for six years old .. he had an amazing grasp of the story! sure makes me want to read the book too! after the movie .. (it was about 2:00 a.m. when it ended .. we told him adventure story after adventure story and had him giggling until he finally told us 'GA! i have to go to SLEEP!' (we all slept late every morning though!)
it is the 'little moments' that bring the most joy consistently! (of course, those BIGGIES .. like the moment of their birth .. are the MOST precious!) we all took turns guessing WHEN the newest little 'angel-child' will arrive (mid-June) and whether it will be a boy or a girl .. and choosing favorite names! WEDNESDAY and FRANK always prefer to be surprized at the moment of birth .. and will never announce to anyone THEIR name preference until she proudly holds the babe in their arms .. and as the family enters the room moments after the birth .. she beams and proudly says: "I want to introduce you all to (NAME)." Forever .. those moments will remain among my favorites. xo, frannie
