My daughter's choir director was treated several times for pnuemonia and it wouldn't go away. She makes goat milk soap and out of desperation she asked the doctor if caring for her goats might cause her symptoms. Lights went on in doctor's head....."do you make soap??" She said yes,doctor tells her she has mechanical pnuemonia due to breathing in the lye. She questioned this because she has been making soap for years. Doctor said lungs just couldn't take the lye no more. She wears a mask now and the symptoms are going away.
