I currently live in Maryland with my husband of 7 years this month. I grew up in South Dakota and he grew up in Pennsylvania. We are computer programmers, and are currently going to school to get our MCSE certificates. That way we can get a job where ever we move to next year.

My husband, now 35, had a heart attack 2 years ago come October. Since then, he decided that he doesn't want to work in a cubicle for the rest of his life, and wants big open spaces. I am very much in agreement. So we are planning on moving to NW Montana, or the stovepipe of Idaho, by the summer of 2006. So, this next year should be interesting.

Our intention is to find a small chunck of land, 15 or up acres, so we can be outside, hunt, fish, breathe, not hear traffic every day, and enjoy the open area, and the nice people that live in that area.

I grew up in the city, but was able to help out on a ranch, occasionally, especially around branding time. So, a country home with a garden, various animals, and some wild critters roaming thru, would be a very nice change from the hustle and bustle here, with the hour to 2 hour commute both ways to work.

Well, I have babbled enough. Hi all!

Welcome Denise,
I like your thinking, I hope you can make the move happen.
Sounds like your husband needs the space too.
The area you are thinking about should be great.
The people here on the forum are so wise, they will be able to help with any questions you have.
