I have some skinny jeans coming your way too. I looked at the waistline & couldn't believe my gut once fit into them!! Also, I had a pink jeans jacket(med length) that I never wore. I cut it off so the the bottom pockets are still workable & will send you that whole piece. I was going to cut into pieces, but not sure how you may want to work it in. I though the pink would be nice though. That way the top part can still be donated to the local shelter here as a short jeans jacket & the bottom goes to you! THanks Alee!!
PS I figure if I ever get skinny enough to fit in that size again I will treat myself to a new pair!

I wish I quilted, I tried but started to sneeze with our material. Someday I'll be able to contribute.

Amy-

I can use as many squares as everyone wants to send. I will be making 4 quilts at least. One for each of Julia's kids and one for Julia and her husband. I figure I will be a master jean quilter by the end!

Alee,

I have some squares for you if you still need some. Just send me your address and I will get them out to you. I am not the best at measuring or cutting, and since my sewing supplies are all packed up right now, I had to use kitchen shears to cut them, LOL, sooooo, if you turn them into dust rags I will completely understand. ;)

Thanks

I have been working on the quilt a bit last week, yesterday and today. So far I have 32 squares sew together. It is 4 ft by 2 ft right now and I will be adding on.

Please send more denim if you have it so I can make one for Julia, Aria, Reo, and Rianna.

This quilt is going to get another foot or food an a half wider and then I am going to put the batting and backing on. I think that will be good. Do you all think I should make it longer? Should it be 5ftx4ft, or 4ft by 3 1/2ft?

Let me see what else I can come up with Alee. Do you know a round about number that you think you still need? I'm gonna ask my daughters to see if they have any old jeans too.

I'm not sure how many more I will need- a lot? I have almost used up all the cut squares that everyone has so kindly sent me, plus the ones I cut from my jeans. I need to cut some jeans that Annika gave me still, so that will probably be enough for a quilt or at least half depending on how many squares I can get out of each pair of jeans.

Yay! The seams held during the wash. Now it is drying and I will add another foot to both sides.

Nancy-

Because my goofy camera has to have TONS of light, but it's flash is so strong that it whites everything out unless you are atleast 5 feet away. So I took it outside where the best light was :D
