I have made my own vanilla for alot of years. Using vodka, or brandy. Put a couple of vanilla beans in the bottle shake, and finally use. Probely would be the cheap grain vanilla !!! :) but it works for us. I always wondered if it was a true recipe, so it is nice to see someelse does it too.
