I just finished an embroidery on muslin material. I want to tea stain it before I frame it. Do I dip it in hot tea water or cold tea water? Anything else I should know? NANCY JO
I just soak mine in Tea for however long I want, the longer the soak the darker the stain..I find that hot or cold does not make a difference, in my opinion.

Nancy Jo, I have been tea dying for YEARS. It's the same principal as wine and cooking, don't use tea you wouldn't drink!
