I bought her on ebay about a year ago. She looks so 1940's with that hair. She's my mascot for the farm. She's going to be on the website my ds is helping me set up. Her name is Lilly(Bee Haven Daylily Farm) :) She expresses the 1940's farmgirl inner me! I wish I had a shelf full of her! I wish I had her hairdo! LOL!

I love her "can do" style. If you had a farm with Roses, she could be named Rosie!!! Lilly will do just fine.
Adorable!

Rosie is a good name, too. Years ago, I bought a pair of rink roller skates at a thrift store, and printed inside was the name of the previous owner - Rosie Ritchie - . I thought that was such a great name, I called myself that when I used the skates! ROFLOL! I still can't skate - I think I'm too old to try that again!
She's waving hello to Jack and Dave! ;)

That's funny--I bought an old flexible flyer sled at a junk store, and on the back, a little girl named Rosie had written her name and address, etc...from the La Grange, Kentucky area. It SOLD me on the sled!!!!

Great hair, and I love her little shirt too with the plaid pattern and the puffy sleeves. Adorable really!

No, Miss Wilma. I never learned to sew. My grandma always made my nice, Sunday dresses, but nobody ever offered to teach me. And to be fair, I was quite a tomboy and all I really wanted to take in High School was wood shop! LOL! They wouldn't let me, though. I had to struggle through a semester of home ec and didn't learn anything. :(

Janice, That is just too darn cute! It reminds me of a farmer version of the I Love Lucy chickadee! :-)

Janice, You are right she is cute and does look like the 1940's. Jack and Dave would love to have her over for a visit anytime. Can she climb trees. They love doing that on nice days.Tell her to bring honey in case they seem a little cranky. NANCY JO

Yes, she's quite the tree climber. That's how she lost her shoes. They fell off when she climbed too high! :D
