I DO DELCARE MISS SCARLET .. i think today is the coldest day i have ever ever ever experienced in the four years i've lived in Kentucky!

Got up at 5:00 a.m. to get to a 7:30 dentist appointment .. (finished up some dollies before leaving) rushed out the door and WHAMO! the cold hit my body like running into a huge snowman! tire pressure was even down .. stopped to pump them up ('bout frizzed my fingers off .. and to get some gas) realized it was already 7:30 .. called the dentist office to apologize .. give my excuses and ask if i'd be too late if i was half an hour late!

oh lordy! the dentist answered the phone from HOME .. and said: "frannie, honey .. your appointment isn't until 8:30! don't rush".

WELL .. that gave me time to hit McDonald's for a breakfast burrito .. but i warned him he'd have to pick burrito outta' my teeth before workin' on them! (had temporary CAPS put on two teeth .. and another one yet to go!) at least i have all my original teeth!!

then went to glovers' station to check out how it looks now that my good gal pal, rita is sharing it with me! oh my! i just love it! so full and charming .. noticed that wilma's booth is gone ... and friend sugarbucket is leaving at the end of january. kathy is so busy with her wonderful shoppe in bardstown .. she just never has time to get to greensburg anymore. she will be so missed .. she has the BEST primitives! that will leave two FRONT booths .. (but i think they are already rented). a couple new dealers 'upstairs' .. one i really like .. she has olde magazines .. county living, country home, victoria .. and lots of 'crafts' magazines. i got a bunch of feb/mar/apr/may victoria's .. they are great for ideas and inspiration.

just finished two more dollies and i'm ready to hit the bed. (i'm all packed for my d.c. trip friday morning .. sooooo excited!)

good night sweet princesses .. have a lovely thursday! xo, frannie

it has been cold here too in North Florida..some folks might not think it gets cold here..but it does..it's a bone chilling wet cold. We are 2 blocks from the water so it gets real humid here and oh gracious a wet cold goes plumb to the bones. Stay warm Miz Frannie.Safe travels to ya girlfriend!

we're going to get 'gas logs' for our 'upper cabin' .. it has heat but doesn't warm toasty enuff for me! we have lots of friends who have them and they say it will warm the whole cabin! hank jus' doesn't want to 'haul wood' anymore! and i'm A-SKEERED of going to sleep and closing the damper in such a small space .. and don't want to leave it open at night to let all that warm air go up the chimney. anyone else out there have experiences with the gas logs?

It was 16 on may way to work this morning here in Arkansas. They are saying 50's tomorrow and 65 on the weekend though so it won't last long!
