we, too, deserve a big hug .. we are all wonderful ...

when you think of YOU .. what are you thankful for?

i am thankful that i am a happy, cheerful person. i love that i love adventure (not the climbing mt. everest kind like my honey-hunk). my 'adventure' comes in everyday moments .. finding the fun and learning and newness in people and places .. and events. the 'making memories' kind of adventure.

tell us ONE THING that you LOVE about YOU! xo

I think I am generous of spirit--when I pass away, I want someone to be able to say, "she was good to me" and then I've done my job here on earth. I'm happy most about that.

I am thankful for being simple in design. I'm not jealous of others, enjoy helping and caring for others and enjoy finding a GREAT deal at thrift store. I am also thankful for not having to compete with the world around me.
Happy New years to all!

i'm loving your lists. it too often seems that people can get depressed (or jus' down) on themselves .. finding fault .. when we are all god's miracle .. and are a blessing to ourselves! doesn't it jus' feel 'yummy' to remind ourselves how 'grande a design' we all are! xo

this is a GREAT list to make for those we love .. and even those that we find fault with! xo

I'm thankful for my ability to "bounce back" after setbacks. I heard one time years ago that if we're walking on a trail and we fall down, we don't just LIE there, we get up and either keep going or turn back and pick a different trail. After I heard this analogy, I was much more easily able to apply it to my life. For this, I'm truly thankful...

XOXO, Libbie

I'm thankful that I am a caring and giving person, that I'm resourceful and generally upbeat and wanting to do something to help others. That in times of trouble, I can laugh and carry on to do what is needed.

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart

i truly believe that 'setbacks' .. seemingly (at the time) failures .. (i don't believe in that word!!!) are amazing 'teachers' in our lives.

I, too, am thankful that I am in good enough shape to enjoy the wonderful momentary joys of daily life. Folks in pain and deep grief have a hard time doing that, as I would too. I also love looking into the faces of my gran girls - how perfect their skin and faces are!!!! And they make me feel perfect too. Even though I know they look at wrinkles and droops!

I am glad I can enjoy the poetry of words and the expressions of people. I am glad I have God. I am glad that the gifts that have been given to me, completely undeserved, have been so bountiful.

Oh, and I am glad I love nature, and the beauty of earth.

I am thankful that I don't listen to the negativity of "others" and accomplished so much in life. I can be a bit cheeky and proud here and say I have done more and gone further than anyone (family wise) and I love my life!!! I now know I can stand on my OWN 2 feet.

To go along with that, I am thankful that I am adventurous and always can make a home and a life wherever I am or whatever I am given. I am glad I am not hung up on "keeping up with the Jone's" and can pick up my life, literally, in a moment's notice and be out the door to a new adventure.

I am glad DH and I are so diversified and I hope to pass that on to our DS.

I am grateful DH not only puts up with my crazy ideas but actually wants to do them with me... : )

Cheers,
Heather

I am thankful that I have a very mild temper. Surrounded by family this holiday season, I've noticed that I'm definitely the most mild mannered =;-) Life is far too short to get mad about things! The fella and I are so easy-going that life is such a fun adventure for us. If something unexpected happens, well - then it just becomes an adventure upon the adventure! No need to fuss..

I'm thankful for my generous spirit. I love surprizing people with little things to make their day a little brighter.

I also have a joyful heart (most of the time). The littelest things- especially in nature make me smile

This is something I struggle with most times but I am grateful that God says I am fearfully and wonderfully made....

that He's given me a spirit of perseverance (read stubborness without it I would never have survived 18yrs as an Army wife), compassion for others, and inquisitiveness. A love of history.

I am thankful that I really do have the gift to become one with nature and that it brings me so much joy.I cherish all the simple joys. I am also thankful that I don't give up on things that I believe in or give up hope that things will improve.

Im still learning to love myself because of some childhood setbacks but they make me who I am and I am still ever growing. I love that I can find so much in life that I love. I am outgoing but shy and I size up situations a trait I had since I was a baby I am told. I am intelligent but can be ditzy and goofy. I have a wonderful sense of humor and LOVE to laugh. That is truly the best thing god gave us, laughter! I know when I join him I will be smiling and laughing with him and all my angels. I am somewhat of an oxymoron (hey watch it) because I love luxury and simplicity. Not much in the middle. I love to meet people and cherish those moments where you meet someone or do something that is so magical and you just know it is a gift of a moment. I love to shop but also to play in the dirt and mud. I love nature and what all God has provided us with. I am thankful for people that help me to grow and nurture me in many ways. Just so thankful for me, family, friends, and life. I feel like an AMEN
