well, chilluns .. i'm reeeeeeeeeely excited about my trip 'back home' to the D.C. area (i'll be hitting d.c. .. delaware .. maryland and virginia) to visit family and friends! (ha! i'm even having a 'date' with an olde beau or two!!)
honey hunk is planning a 'get-a-way' to the SUN vacation for us this winter .. hopefully, by the time i return mid-January he will have all the dates arranged .. so that i can 'conjure up' that CABIN FEVER winter gathering here for friends i've met. REMEMBER .. we'll all be staying HERE at the cabins ... and i only have THREE guest beds .. and ONE guest room .. sooooooo .. we will be like 'young'uns' again and HIT THE FLOOR on sleeping bags (which you'll be bringin' with you!) i'll make up some 'kits' for some fun hand-sewin' .. we will of course, visit my beloved GREENSBURG for a little shopping and lunch at Lucy Tuckers!! I'll arrange for a private tour of our historic Courthouse .. and we can even 'roam' a little further in any direction for some more fun shoppin' .. OR .. we might jus' hang out at the cabins and have fun makin' .. bakin' .. sewin' .. eatin' .. gossipin' .. and story tellin'!
I'm thinking our gathering will be sometime late FEBRUARY or early MARCH .. but again .. will have to wait to hear about our winter vacation dates! "E-MAIL" me if you think you'll be able to join us .. I'll make it over a 'weekend' for all the workin' girls out there that would like to attend! Probably arrive Friday .. spend that day .. Saturday and Sunday .. and those that have to get back to work on Sunday can head home .. and if you can play hookey an extra day .. we can spend part of Monday together before giving out farewell hugs.
hank is lobbying for a trip to ISRAEL this winter .. but i told him i preferred to stay in the U.S. this winter and hold off on the 'far-away' places until next autumn. Woulda' been this summer .. BUT .. we have a meetin' with a new BABY mid-June! And he is planning his trip to Antarctica for next winter ... ohhhhhhhhhh .. i'll jus' leave the 'travellin' up to him to plan!!
what fun SUNNY climes in the U.S. do you girls like?
well, miz tina .. i do believe that FLORIDA is right up there at the top of the list!! not sure what part the man is checking out .. will let you know when i know more. t'would be such fun to gather!
