Those are so cute! I'm almost finished I have about 9 more to go or somewhere around that number. Then they will be on their way to Kathie.

I dropped mine off @ the P.O. today so they are now in the good hands of our federal goverment...

ok, that's it, even if I have to drug myself up royal I am working on my minis tomorrow. I have fabric I really want to use, hoping it works out, always a second runner up in the wings.....
yep Gracie dear you should have those little babies before you go the the roundup!!!!!! Already have an idea for them......

| hey anyone who has not checked bevs blog lately should..her minis are sweet and ther is now some really touching music on it. I have had her blog up for a couple of days now just listening and i tell you ...if it catches you right you just may start to cry. in a good way ya know. |

Hey, ladies. I am just about finished with my mini -aprons here. Do you know that a yard of valentine print and a yard of white print make 35 mini aprons?! So, I will have mini aprons left over to give away for those girls here who need some cheering.
Ok, how many do we actually send? is it still 25?

Jess, do you have a ruffler attachment for any of your treadles? Cuts down on time immensely.
Just stitch together a long length of fabric(enuff for at least 23 aprons) whose width/depth is as long as you want your aprons (plus allowance for hemming)and run it through the ruffler attachment, then cut up that long gathered length into about 3"-4"(measurement taken on the bottom, not the gathered top) segments for your aprons. Hem/trim and attach top waistband/ties. That's my quickie method.

| Wow... My head is spinning you guys are sewing so fast. Finished my Valentine minis and just popped them into the mail. I love the new post office machines that let you print out the postage you need... and you don't have to wait for the "office" to open and stand in line. My minis should be at Kathie's by Wednesday. Yippee.. onto westerns!!! I saw some great western print at Rainbows End (quilt shoppe) Thanks again for letting me swap with you guys..I really love it!!! Bonne & Bev saw both of your minis..so cute!!! |

Ok my Western sample is done & I love it,,,,,heehaw,
I am going to start sewing them this week, perhaps tomorrow,,,,hey Bev, wanna race! hahaha! yipeekiya!
I made my Valentine mini's on my new old machine, kinda slow going and the machine was a bit quirky but is working good now. My biggest problem is I keep forgetting to let off the knee peddle and end up going a few stitches futher then I should,,,just call me speedy! But for the sake of time I will make my western mini's on my modern Brother machine.
