I am not sure when it happend, but someone tried to break into our house were we are at currently. They tried to pry open the back door and also tried to cut through the dead bolt. They got part way through and hit the middle which is a harder metal to cut. We now are unwilling to leave the house unatteneded until we get moved, as my husbands drum set is here as well as my dogs.

And then we have the issues of the kids. Do we leave them home alone, I am thinking during the day maybe, but I now no longer leave them home alone when it is dark. I imagine when we move we will feel better, but still. We picked up new deadbolts and padlocks for the shed. We are going to get a large dog again after we get moved. Something that makes a much more impressive bark and presence. Man I hate the world sometimes.

Please pray for peace for us and safetly as well, as the police said there is nothing really they can do, as they did not actually get in and we do not own the house, so only the owner can make a complaint of criminal damage and since only the deadbolt was damaged............... Anyway thanks ladies

Oh wow, Amy, I am so sorry about that, I wonder why people are so horrible!

Wait, I've never heard that you can't make a report, even if you are renting...who said that criminals can get off scott free if they still from renters? It's still a crime!

All my best wishes to you
