I know it's early but last year we had over 30 girls sign up and we need time to craft those cards. I've been looking forward to this ever since last years ended. I had so much fun making cards that I had to do it again this year. So, if you'd like to join in and make some old fashioned Valentines and better yet, get some in return, sign up here. You will be making one for each girl on the list. I will try to get a photo posted of the album I made with all the cards I got last year! And for those who joined in the fun last year, you know what great works of art and the talent that oh so inspires! So, sign up here, the deadline hasn't been set yet, I will do that after the holidays. Think pink!!

What a nice start! I'll be posting the album after the holidays so you can get some ideas, but take it from me and Marybeth and who ever else joined in last year, it was the best fun, such a way to get the creative juices flowing, esp. during winter! Just take note, we may end up with more than 30, I'm leaving it open till we see just how many are serious. Thanks to all who have signed up so far. I know it's a busy time right now, so I may not be back on till after Christmas, so keep signing up! Merry Christmas to all, back to wrapping gifts! lol

Didn't we have around 40 last year?, Sue? It really was so much fun and the first time I ever did something like that. I have all mine in a heart shaped box but an album--good idea. MB

I'm lovin the response and so nice to see some of you from last year! I'm really looking forward to this and I plan to start making some soon, I want to get a jump start just in case we have a big turn out, but won't it be fun to go to the mail box in cold feb. to find handmade friendship notes from all over! I haven't forgotten to post photos of my album, I just need to remember how! lol Marybeth, maybe you can post some photos of the cards you got last year to give the girls some idea on what we did?

Sue, I just spent a good amount of time reading your blog. I love it!
I want to do a blog also. I just feel so dumb, never done one before. And I am not sure that I would have anything to say that others would want to spend their time reading. lol.
I love your kitchen! I would like to share pics of my little kitchen in a blog. My house is very simple and homey. But, I know how much I enjoy looking at the unique ways that others fix their homes and would like to share mine.
Oh my, I have rattled on and on. sorry. Just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your blog.

Hi Girls,

I would love to make some homemade Valentines and swap them. Please add me to the list if there is still time. I did the Christmas Card Exchange this year with the Farmgirls and am so touched by all the cards this year for Christmas. Thanks, Erica

Here are some samples and examples of the cards made and received last year at Valentines time. The swap was so much fun. the kids helped, the grandkids helped and I have been making all kinds of cards ever since.
