I signed up a few days ago. I can't wait to receive the badge and other goodies. I haven't heard anything by email though, was I supposed to?

All this time I thought all of you gals on the forum were working on your merit badges...well I am so excited to see others just getting started too!
I printed the merit requirements and made a cute binder and with the "Idea" book I want to do a little of everything all at once.
My husband laughs as I begin a project is that for your "farmgirl" project? He is happy to see me having fun!

Melanie,
I love binders! Having the projects all in the categories makes it enjoyable to find them and I can check off as I do them.
I also have a place for the newsletters and correspondence regarding the group.
Some of the cute projects I have printed for ideas from other farm girls are tucked in there for inspiration. Which there is so many talented ladies on this group, my head is spinning, with delight I might add!

I got my membership packet with badge the other day....but have yet to see my emblem by my name. I'm excited to be a member of the sisterhood. Now to find a chapter near me in Tyler, TX

Hey Kate....I just got mine last week too....and I don't have a chapter either...maybe we could be our own little virtual chapter which I was thinking of starting for those who don't live near one ....like ME! LOL! I'm going to email Sunny at MJ's tomorrow and see if I COULD start a virtual one online for us. And I know there are others out there who aren't close to one and with gas prices it seems like the way to go for many of us.
What do you think?

YaY! I signed up to the Sisterhood last night! Can't wait to start earning merit badges! I also printed off the projects and plan to put them in a binder. I am also the Chapter leader of the Lanesville BarnChicks. I'm hoping that they will all sign up to the Sisterhood so that we can all earn badges together  |

| I just signed up about 5 minutes ago myself! Can't wait to start earning badges, although I don't think there is a chapter close to me either. Truth be told I'm still technically a "city girl", although I'm country at heart and am trying to reconnect and develop that part of me that remembers growing up in the country. Things were so much more simple then! |
