Has any one used "aunt martha's" flour sack towels.

I've bought a few different brands that were horrible, and expensive, but the quality was awful, it was like trying to embroider on gauze.

I'm wondering about Aunt Martha's though. Let me know if you have tried them and what you thought.

I am not sure what brand they are but I love the one they carry here at Ben Franklins. But I will look the next time I go. Where did you purchase yours?

Ok, great! It sounds like you probably got Aunt Martha ones. (still please double check for me when you can. lol) I don't have a BF here, but where my mom lives (in Kansas) there is Hobby Lobby, I have went to one BF one time, when I was in Mo visiting my gma, and I believe it's just about the same as Hobby Lobby if not the same thing exactly! And at Hobby Lobby they are selling the Aunt Martha's, so is Hancocks......the only thing is I live in NYC we have neither store here! lol haha However, I'm planning on going for a visit this week, so I will stop and get them. I just don't get there much, won't be till next fall that I will make it there again, so I was trying to figure out how many I should buy. If I could just go at will to the store, I would buy just one and try them.....but if I knew for sure they were good I would stock up for the year! lol

Did the ones you get have 2 in a pack, and have like colorful paper on top (like yellow, or pink?) I've noticed that is how most the Aunt Martha's are packaged.

Where I got my last ones were Ikea, and Walmart and Kmart, etc etc.

This year I brouht them ; they seem pretty good
I think they relaize that people are doing embroidery work on them again. Pinkroses

Thanks Pink. :) Yeah I couldn't stand the gauze likeness of them, they're in my closet, and probably will never be finished, cause I get so frustrated with them.

I have used the thin ones and they do look good when done, but they do not always hold the ink from the iron on pattern, which is frustrating. I like the Aunt Martha towels and the ones they sell at Target too.

I order mine from www.herrschners.com They carry two sizes and I find the quality to be good. I hate those guazy things that some of the stores sell.
hugs, Kathy
