Hey y'all,

I've thought it would be cool to embroider our Farmgirl Sisterhood number and surround it with the same hexagon border as our Henrietta patch.

Here's a link to my "one on one" number swaps. This is open to anyone in the sisterhood. You don't have to be a Chapter member.

I was thinking of adding my # to my henrietta patch. I embroidered henrietta last night. Need to get some new floss so I can do the letters.

Hey Julie,

That's a good idea too about adding your number to your Henrietta patch.

I like the idea of just the numbers and now I'm thinking of embroidering mine on a scrap of my apron fabric.

hi farm sisters...I got my patch and package! I'm number 71 and Katmom Grace is next right after me..
I like Stephanie's idea of a scrap of the apron fabric as a patch!
Now I'm going to try to get to Julie's blog to see what you've done.

Julie willowcreek! your patch looks great! I thought the hen might be very difficult to do but maybe I'll give her a try. I really really like yours!

Thanks so much Linda! I was a little nervose about the hen too. I split my floss and only used 2 strands on the hen. Made it MUCH easier!

Yes! I have NEVER embroidered following a printed pattern before. I usually jsut free hand. I didn't have any trouble at all. I also use a needle with a smallish eye so that it didn't leace large holes.

Good luck sister! You can do it! I want to see the beautiful picture when you are done too!

Hey is there really a "Dunder-mifflen" in Scranton? The Office is my brother in laws favorite show. He will love that I know someone from Scranton! HA!

Yes, I live in Scranton! There is a town called Mifflin but not real close to Scranton. I haven't watched the show the Office because I am watching my favorite show on the other channel. LOL
We did have a big celebration downtown when the stars from the show came. It was huge. I didn't go but it isn't far from my. I live about 2 miles from downtown.

Hey Y'all,

I've started the Sisterhood Number swap over in the Farmgirl Chapter Chat area if you'd like to swap your number with me and there are others that would like to swap with you too!

Any Sisterhood member is welcome...You don't have to be a Chapter member. We've got 124 ladies in the sisterhood as of today and I'd like to swap a square with all of you!

If you don't sew you can write your number and anything else you want on your square and send it to me and I'll embroider it myself so it can become part of my creations.
