Just posted a couple of pictures, in case you are getting bored looking at my Christmas tree.
I finished a couple of projects. Now I know where the pillow is going, right down in my sewing room. But what should I do about the kitchen towel? Should I really be using it?
I also took all my wooden spools and strung them together, not sure why or what to do with them, no I didn't take a picture of those, but you know that I probably will, I just can't help it.

I have always been a big fan of Red Work, and now I appreciate the simplisticness(sp) of it done in other colors too!
How wonderful to do it in Greens or purples or what ever color suites ones fancy....I love that we have the freedom to "think(create) outside the box".
Thanx for sharing your lovely work with us.

very nice, Nancy Jo. Use the dish towel as, gasp, a dishtowl. It will look nice hanging in the kitchen. I'm sitting down--waiting for the spool picture. MB

Hi Nancy Jo,
I have a small basket rack that I use to hold some of my embroidered towels. I 'll have to put a picture on my blog sometime. I also use some of them. I love the pattern you chose for the pillow. Where does one find these kinds of patterns? I don't see to many in my thrift store. My husband was with me last time I went so I didn't get much further than the dishes. I am going again this week I hope. Now that I have found a thrift store where the prices are more thrift like.

Good to hear from you Nancy Jo.. I have been horribly ill, first with back surgery and then all the meds, Plavix and asprin and others kinda exploded together and I was rushed to hospital (second time in 9 days) with a G.I. Bleed.. Not a pleasant thing but I had great Dr.s and a wonderful surgery dr. (?), so on the MEND again... Hope to be back on MJF..for now..

I would use the towels. I embroider too, and I use the stuff, and I HOPE that the people I give them to use them too. :)

Well Nancy Jo, The thing I call a basket rack is just a decorative little stand that has these "arms" that stick out from the middle post all the way down. There are three arms that comee out on each side and I can hang a towel over each one. I display some of the towels I have gotten in swaps. I will post a picture of it on my blog so you can see because I am not very good at descriptions.

Margie,
Glad to see you back. Wow back surgery, hope you are taking it easy.
That can be tricky stuff. Glad to hear you are recovering.

Nancy Jo, I just took a peek at your dish towel and it is gorgeous! What fine work! I think I could only use it as a dish towel for nice clean wet hands. I just couldn't bear to think of it soiled!

I just bought my first white flour sack towels to embroider. Now I can hardly wait to get started.
