Awhile back we had a topic on garden geese and goose clothes. I thought I would share a pic of my goose in it's santa outfit. Lol.

I love dressing a goose! Can we have the topic again? Perhaps in the sewing and crafting section....or is this where it would go? I haven't read the "Across the Fence" category before. Did the topic participants sew their own then? I just came across this topic.
Your Santa Goose is very nice!
I have patterns that I have wanted to make...just needed the inspiration. A forum topic would do it.
We could start chatting about them and seeing pics or finding the outfits... I would be able to sew on some after Nov swaps are finished for me (nearer Christmas). Outfits are for sale on ebay..handmade but kinda expensive. There is a "Dummys" sewing pattern for them too....simple sewing.
I didn't want to spend the money for a plastic one to be shipped to me so I got an inexpensive pattern and made my own! She is cloth stuffed and sits on the porch but out of the weather. She doesn't have a Santa suit YET...

Patsy, your goose is so cute! I love geese. I have seen many outfits for them. I think I like this one best!

Linda,

I wish I could make outfits but I don't sew. My goose came with 12 outfits and I have gotten a couple more from Goose Clothes Galore but they are expensive. If I could make the outfits, I think I would have a whole gaggle of geese on my porch! I just love them and I don't really know why. Alot of folks around here have them. Folks that don't have one don't know what they are missing. lol.

I had a little baby goose but the wind blew her off the porch and her butt broke off. Tee hee.

May God bless those who love the soil,

Patsy

I have had a couple of plastic ones...but now just have the cloth stuffed. I bought several dresses....2 are Halloween and the rest are summer dresses...all with bonnets.
If we still keep talking on this post I'll just have to go get a plastic one again to sit on my porch. I can make a Santa Suit...or maybe Mrs. Claus...that would be cute, don't ya think?
Then there are also elf outfits...but I like Santa the best... LOL !

I just want to keep this topic up. Maybe after Christmas we can start collecting outfits. Anyone joing me???
We could even have a swap! Either bought or handmade would work..
What do ya think??
I'm gonna get a new outdoor plastic one. For now I have the stuffed one I made.
oops she's sitting around naked! All I have for her for now is a summer flowery spring outfit (better than being naked) LOL LOL
