Through a little bartering with Tammy, I got the pattern for this turkey craft. I used up a whole bunch of fall-colored scraps and made two, one for me and one for a handmade turkey I am in on Swap-Bot. Here is mine on the buffet with the other turkeys!
He's the one in the center with all the different colored tail feathers! He sure is cute but I've got to say this pattern was slightly more challenging project than I was looking for, especially to make two of! I am not big on hand sewing and it had quite a bit, as well as the tedious task of sewing, turning and stuffing all those feathers! Thank Tammy, I love him but I don't think I'll make another any time soon. :)
