It has been such a long row to hoe - Charlee had to be spayed following the botched c-section and one of her uterine horns were ruptured and she had peritonitis - She was in guarded condition. Before I could be made a vet client of the regular hospital that is also the same building of the emergency clinic I had to transfer her yesterday to another animal hospital and then bring her back to the emergency hospital. She is coming along slowly and just got a call at 4am that her protein levels had fallen a little and Dr Molly recommended that we give her a blood transfusion. So she is going to do that this am. Charlee will be in the hosital for two more days but she is so much safer there than she could be home with me. Please oh please pray for my girl - I love her so much, as I do all my fur children. My husband has to be at the hospital this am at 6:30 for his spinal tap and I doubt I will go back to bed so I might as well make a tea and recoup my brain a bit. Please think of me today girls, I need a group hug for sure.
Thanks for posting the update on your cocker spaniel, Kathy. It sounds like Charlee is in good hands, so we will keep our fingers crossed and hearts filled with hope for her speedy recovery. I hope it will be a good day for your husband's procedure as well. Sounds like it has been a long road for him, attempting to get a diagnosis.
Definitely a full day for you ... so you'll be in my thoughts today. Keep us posted, OK?
