In my family we do a name draw since there are so many of us- that way everyone gets at least one really nice gift. But it can be so hard when you don't see people for most of the year, to pick gifts that they will actually like and enjoy.

Well this year I got my brother in law. He hunts, finshes and camps. He is also a potter and an artist and really enjoys cooking.

So here is what I am going to get him-

Bakeover Skillet
A selection of the Task Bars
Budget Mix (for biscuits and bakeover crust while camping or at home!)
Organic Focaccia Bread
Organic Outrageous Outback Oatmeal
Organic Bavarian Chocolate Mousse
Organic Wild Forest Mushroom Couscous
Organic Red Pesto Pasta
Nick's Organic Couch Potatoes
And probably a selection of the Delish farmgirl chocolates that MaryJane created! mmm I had some of those while I was pregnant and I still drool when I think of them!!!

I am planning do do some gift certs from the farm too. I KNOW the chocolate and towels would be welcome gifts too...while I am out in Calif. visiting family next week I plan to see who needs towels, etc and plan my order!

Very good idea, Alee! I was thinking about what ELSE to get my brother in law, Mr. Super Cool Bonnaroo hippy camper guy (who I love dearly) and I think this is a great idea for him!!! A "camping" gift basket!!!

And then for the more cityish people on your list, you could get the same items, but put it in a picnic basket with a pretty little table cloth and some cloth napkins. Then they could feel like they were "camping" even if it was just a Sunday in the park. I bet you could take boiling water to a park in a good thermos and cook the foods without the need for a fire! Or you could take and electric kettle and just boil the water in your car. Most new cars have an outlet now or you can always buy an adapter to go into the cigarette lighter spot.

The towels and linens would also make a great gift. For my mom I am making a pamper me basket and including two towels, some bath stuff, a good book, and more. Should be a big hit since she has an additicion to towels and these are the best!!!
