Hellow Max and Maya! You beautiful kitties -- you would love Daisy, my black cat -- she's pictured on my blog.
Max KNOWS he is a handsome one. Look at his stance. Maya is laid-back -- I love the mouse sneaking away from her in the photo!

Max looks like he might be "full of it" so to speak. I know my black kitty - "George" - is always up to something. Both kitties are very pretty.

They are so pretty. Max looks like a cat I had years ago named Huey (after Huey Lewis..it was THAT long ago) I always say I am not a cat person..but I have 3 so I think I really am!! I have my orange tabby, Pumpkin..who will be 12 in Feb, Alice..our 2 year old Himalayan from a rescue, and Fiona a skittish calico who loves my girls but won't come in the house. She showed up last winter to get free milk when I was milking the cow, and became fast friends with Pumpkin and never left. She had a litter of kittens in the spring and I had her spayed (I keep all my pets spayed and neutered) and figured she would take off..but she didn't. She and PUmpkin are inseperable. Alice is aloof and spends her time in the house almost all the time. Gosh..guess I DO like cats!! Anyway..after all that rambling..just wanted to say that YOUR cats are sure pretty!

Thank you all for the comments. Max is a stinker for sure and he is now 5 years old. He wakes me up every morning really early to go outside even though there are two litter boxes in the house. He would rather back up to the neighbor's bushes and spray them even though he is neutered. He does not spray in the house.....he better not. Lol. He is the bully of the neighborhood animals. He took on two rottweilers one time and before I could run out, he had backed them both down. He is quite a guy.
Maya is now 14 and her grey hair is turning greyer. She is a sweetheart and causes no trouble at all. I will miss her when she is gone. She was an abused kitten when I got her and was 10 weeks old and only weighed 6 oz. Almost lost her but she hung in there.
Your kitties sound wonderful. I love animals. And Aunt Jenny, I am sure my cat's would love Mona Milk. Tee hee.
May God bless those who love the soil,
Patsy

Max and Maya are beautiful! About two weeks ago our cat, Natasha, passed away. She was a beautiful Russian Blue and she had the best personality and loved everyone she met. We miss her so much. We are going to the animal shelter soon and see if we can adopt another one or two. Thanks for sharing the photos Patsy.

Lainey, Shelter animals are just wonderful. Don't kid yourself, they know that you are there to help them and will love you for it. Sorry about the loss of your Natasha. If you can, adopt two cats that have been together. It seems to work out better that way.
May God bless those who love the soil,
Patsy
