The red wool cape and the skirt are a matching outfit! And the worst part is, that this outfit is now hanging in an ANTIQUE MALL!!!When did I get to be so OLD????
This outfit was very expensive 'back in the day' and was in the designer section of the best department store in Louisville. Go figure! My ds likes it, though. Maybe it's so old it's new again!

Grooovy!...lol...actually it is pretty nice. A lot of retro stuff is back these days. I remember wearing the suede fringed and beaded vests with the striped bell bottoms and go-go boots. Now, that's hilarious!

I've seen it,Janice! How very "To Sir With Love"!!!! In fact, my mom had a baby blue one very similar to the one in the photo.

Not sure, Carol Sue. The skirt is a little generous, so I might be able to get in there. The cape, of course, hides a multitude of sins-LOL! However, I also still have a couple of dresses made by 'Young Edwardian' that are WAAAYYY too skimpy to get this old person in anymore! :D PS - My age shows in the most irritating ways! The scale keeps showing me the same numbers, no matter what I do! :(

That outfit reminds me of Emma Peale (of the 60's TV series, The Avengers...anyone remember?). It's very classy in a mod sort of way.

What kind of shoes did you wear with it? I can see it with black boots. Really pretty. They don't make clothes like that anymore!

Oh, and if anyone wanted to use it for Halloween, they could be little red riding hood!

OUCH! I was born in 1960 and had a good shock the other day at an antique store, seeing a lot of goods from later then that being touted as "Antique" ...*grumble*

Groovy! wear it! I wish I still had some of my clothes and toys from that time, they go for a pretty good price if they are in good shape.

"I can't believe I wore this in the 60's!!!" needs to be a a tv show for us boomer babes

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart
