Okay, we have 9 harvest swappers! Anyone want to join? I was hoping we could close this today. I think if everyone with their 10 handmades done, could mail them out to the address I sent, we could get this going! I am so excited to see what everyone decided to make! It's an amazing variety! If you don't have my address, please email!

Dear everyone,
I need you to know I put you all on the list of ten as your email came with your info. I have one creative lady, that asked to be on, but I just got her info, and I also mixed up two Melissa's, so that would make 12!!! I am listing everyone here, by the name given to me, can you let me know for sure if it's all correct now? I will put all 12 on this post, but I must know if we all agree to do two more projects?? Or if I have to let the last two that emailed me, off-list. (Which I will be very sad to do.) (Very)
Here are the names, PLEASE tell me if you are NOT involved, for some reason or another, and also please email me if you are all willing to do 12, (if no one has mailed out yet.)
lavender gal, girlwithasword, Peanut, eesuiter, amyartgirl, hobocampcrafts, Becky, Blessing, RebekkaMae, Burkeme, createmyworld, myself.
thank you everyone!!!

Would we only have to do one more because we would not have to send one to ourselves? Either way, I've already given my package to someone to send out so it's to late for me to add one more to it :( BUT instead of kicking someone off could we all still get 10 but just be short one? Like for ex. if you take the names above and just say the person to the right of your name you will not get one of there items. Peanut would be short my item I'd be short amyartgirl's item so on. I'd just hate to kick someone off who might have already made the 10 items!

So what is two more ;) I am willing to do 12, no problem....of course, we really need to make 11, cause we don't need to send on to ourselves....so for the people that made 10 only need to create one more thing....of course some people will still be missing items because of some people that allready sent there's in before the final tally.

I still have to make my tea blend because I was out of town over the weekend....but that won't take me that long to do

Peanut, probably no one knows what the size of a boll is! We will need to trust your judgement I think about the 25. It sounds good to me. Can you spin them? I hope so!!

The bolls are about 2-3 inches wide. They are spinable - usually if someone wants to spin the cotton I remove it from the boll so if there is too much plant material in the cotton for you to spin, please let me know and we can arrange for you to get some more! I'm sending them in the boll in case someone wants to use them for decorating or wreath making.

I came to find that I am the 11th person... even though I thought I had signed up early my email is the one which got lost on it's way to Jennifer "small graces"... since Elah has already mailed her swap items in and can't add for the 11th person... instead of causing any more grief, I'll just bow out of this swap. I appreciate that you tried to fit me in, but I don't want to cause any headaches... I hope the remainder of this swap goes smoothly for everyone involved!
thanks....

Okay everybody, I think we can work it out. Like you said, what was I thinking, we aren't sending ourselves one! This will work out, if we are short, I will distibute things in an even way, and we will not have to leave anyone out. You are all great!

I sent out 300+ cotton bolls this morning, rather than just 250.

Amy...I got your email, thanks! There is a possibility that I will still be joining in on this swap, so I haven't emailed you back yet. If it doesn't work out for me to join in, I'll be glad to swap with you "on the side"... Let's see what happens with the ladies here first.

I had an idea which I emailed to Jen "small graces"... I thought that if the rest of the ladies haven't sent their items yet, and if those women are willing to send in 11 items, I'll send 11 in and everyone will receive 11 items and I'll receive 10 (omitting Elah's item from mine)... does that make any sense?? that way it might make it easier on Jen for sorting out purposes, as then all she has to remember is that everyone gets one from everyone else, except for me (omitting Elah's from mine). If this is too much trouble for everyone, then I completely understand and I'm okay with backing out.

Sounds like to me this can work out for everyone. I will go and send my 11 unless I hear any differently :-)

I LOVE YOU ALL! THanks everybody! The first swap packages arrived today! The children were so excited, you would have thought they were for them! They all stood around while I opened the cotton bolls and the fleece scarves. oohh they are pretty. The cotton bolls will look great in a vase like we talked about, I can't wait to see the rest!! You girls are doing great.
Don't forget, anyone who can send an extra, that would be great!

I sent mine out today priority mail, and it should get there in about 2 days... I sent 11 homemade lip balms, 11 handmade polymer clay pins and 11 original art prints, also handmade (the prints are from woodcut carvings which I did and they are unframed, you can each either frame and hang your print, or use it for some other purpose of your choosing). I hope everyone likes all the things I chose to send! Thanks for including me in this!

Beth-
Your goodies sound beautiful- what thoughtful additions to our swap;)
I can't wait to hold them in my hand! And I am sooo excited to have cotton bolls, my daughter has raw versions of wool and silk that she plays with and now farmgirl cotton;)

I made little felt harvest needle keepers for you each, they are all one of a kind with hand embroidery- if you want a sneak peek go to my etsy store as I have some posted there. My hope is that they are put to good use in your mending kit!

You girls are the best! Rebekka

Thank you so much Rebekka! We are definitely a busy family, but it's a "good busy". We are all sidelined by the flu right now. I am really looking forward to mailing everyone's boxes out! I have a couple of details, then I think we can send. Thanks everyone for being a part of my first try! It's been inspiring, seeing all of the wonderful creations and then seeing all your own blogs and sites! I am prouder everyday of my farm girl connections! It's just amazing!
