I don't know if I am too early or too late with this idea?? But if 10 farmgirls want to swap homemades for a "harvest party", email your info! I am thinking of things like homemade soaps, candles, jams and woolie things! But please be creative and don't let this list limit you! I will be sending out 10 of my famous farmgirl handcream. It's for winter, chapped hands, lambing season, bug bites, skin rashes, you get the picture!!! It is all natural, with wonderful essential oils in it. Is anyone tempted yet? Can't wait to hear from you!!

I hope we can have the list done by November 10th. I will do an everyone mail 10, to me, thing. I will put one of each together then email everyone their postage, sound good? I can probably use the one price box, unless we get creative in too big of a way.

This is so exciting, thanks everybody for being ready to swap! Can't wait to get to know you all!! I want to have the list done by November 10th, but at this rate, we could be early! How awesome would it be to have everyone's "harvest party" in the mail before Thanksgiving? Maybe I am really an optimist, let me know, does that sound realistic??

PS Amyartgirl-your teas sound lovely!

I think that it seems very doable to have things out the door before Thanksgiving. But my DH also says that I tend to push things :)

Okay we still have some room, if you haven't emailed me your full name and shipping to sign up, please do so, I can't wait to have you in our swap. Also, is it okay with everyone if I give the master list, (of emails), to all ten of us, so we can email back and forth?? Let me know if I am breaking any rules, but I think it would be more personal that way, and keep our threads running together. I am so excited about everyones ideas for their contributions! I think we have room for one more, if everyone in the above posts sends their email to me to sign up! WE ARE SO EARLY! I thought it would take longer to fill. I think we could make the Thanksgiving Day deadline!

This should be a fun a swap! I've already started and my items. I'm making some fleece fall colored scarves with a pretty fall embroidery on them. They are turning out very nicely. I think that I might have them ready by the end of this weekend!

I feel so spoiled already- gorgeous scarves, creams and teas- I am so excited;) I made a variety of hand embroidered pinbooks out of wool felt for you each and I think they are sooo cute, I love to put them in my car, purse, sewing bag etc.
Can you believe it is already november?

Am I too late to get in on this swap? I've been "busy" for awhile and would really enjoy getting back to "MaryJanesFarm" with this swap. I'm getting caught up with my mail art by adding a surprise in my envelopes.

I have a field full of cotton is anyone is interested in the bolls for decorating, wreath making, making Christmas angels, etc.

I could send off 200 bolls (more?). Let me know!

WOW! A cotton field? I'll bet it's just beautiful when all of the bolls are "ripe." Is that what you call them when they're ready for harvest? This swap sounds like so much fun!

XOXO, Libbie

I think bolls sound like fun! If there is still room for one more in the swap I'd say go for it. It would be fun to see what people make with them.

Do y'all think that 200 bolls of cotton will be enough for everyone on the list? I was thinking it would be nice if everyone could get 25 bolls.

I'm confused. Is this barter for things made from fall items or things made for fall or things to make fall things?

Hello everybody! sorry I have not been here! We went away for the weekend and our truck was broken into. We are such country bumpkins, we had our computer in there!! Finally got the old one up and running today.

LynnMarie, this is a holiday swap, for handmades. I think everyone was okay with getting the homegrown cotton, though, it is a great idea!

I emailed everyone my address to send out your 10 handmade harvest items to, if you didn't get the email, please let me know.

Peanut, probably no one knows what the size of a boll is! We will need to trust your judgement I think about the 25. It sounds good to me. Can you spin them? I hope so!!

Thanks everybody! I am checking tonight to see if we have our 10. I will post later.
