That looks so nice Tina. It is hard work, but so satisfying to stand back at the end of the day and see what you've accomplished. There's something good for the soul when you're playin' in the dirt!
we basically are transplanting items that have been in other areas of the yard in a "hodge podge"...bringing them all together in a central location so that they have some uniformity to the plantings... and so that we can use the areas where they were originally planted..as garden areas. I have a courtyard where some of these plants were(L shaped fence on either side with flower beds in each L shape) and I decided that I'd prefer to use the L shaped beds with the fence behind it as a place to grow beans that might need support on the fence area..and other veggies in there. Trying to make our yard more effecient for growing food items as well as "looking pretty" The spider lily plants were taking up a large portion of a raised bed..that will be utilized for veggies come the Spring. So..it's alot of moving things around really. Now if only the weather will hold out so that we can complete the project!! we've had lots of rain here lately. Not complaining though as just 3 hours North they are in drought.
