Doing ok here in northeast Missouri. Some thunderstorms and twisters went through about 1am. I woke up, which I usually dont, but I they weren't directly in my area that I know of. About 35 miles away 2 people were killed in one though.
Today was wet and windy. A storm was supposed to come through this evening and boy howdy did it. Our power went out just after Kylee got home from school about 3:30 and just 2 minutes ago (9:25) came on and I had to rush to the computer to check out the forum. The wind really blew but no real damage that I can see--of course it is dark out. It is still windy but at least the power came on. I wonder how Diane in B.C. is doing. MB
We finally had a thunderstorm come through early this morning, with a lovely soaking rain. I hope that it lasts all day. We are desperately in need of rain, so any drops from the sky are welcomed.
We had quite a bit of rain for a short period (which was needed) and some wind. Our weather sirens went off twice last night but the storms weren't too bad. I think the folks just to the west of us got the worst of it.
We had that storm Mary Beth had down in washington, the wind wasn't too bad - not like that big storm last year- but boy did the rain come down yesterday. A puddle around the building I was working in yesterday, very quickly became a moat!
