Since most of us are in touch with our inner Goddess, why not have a Goddess type exchange. It could be things to keep us in touch with our spiritual side - something to do with meditation - a CD to evoke a more serene side - an inspiration book - you name it -
If you are interested drop me an email- Looking for a cut off date of approx mid November so that we can get our special gifts to eachother between Thanksgiving and Christmas - that seems when we will need them most.

Frannie- After much reflection (HA) I am not embroidering either (too many little ones around here for a big project) but rather making herbal eye pillows for this swap if that sounds good to you all...

this is a 'one-on-one' swap? right? ohhhh pleeeeze tell me it's just a one-on-one .. that's surely all i will find time for. won't be home until mid-november! xoxo
herbal eye pillows sound grand to me ... but for whoever might get me as a swap partner ... i gotta' tell you .. i can't do 'flowery aromas' .. gives me headaches (which unfortunately includes lavendar). i love the smell .. but i always pay for it! i can do kitcheny aromas .. love mints and such.
i haven't even taken the time yet to figure out what 'goddess' gift i might make. still have to do my doily, pillow-cases and apron pocket swaps! xoxo

Sorry everyone I have been sooo busy with the new puppies and have a litter of cockapoos due this upcoming week - ya all know my husband has not been well- dizzy spells for a year and now finally they are doing a lumbar puncture and ECG next week. I think he has neuro damage from tick borne diseases he has had.
Any how - yes, definitely a one on one swap - I can't deal with more than a partner or two at the most at one time hehehe

Some of my ideas about our Goddess within swap. First I think of soft music..soothing and relaxing with or without a spoken guided meditation. Then I imagine a smell perhaps from a candle or incense.
Some more ideas are: blank journal book for writing,
book on spirituality, meditation, prayer, empowerment, etc.
bath salts, bubble bath to aid in meditation
a drawing, painting or statue of a Goddess like figure or an inspiring woman, perhaps a madonna
any more ideas? I'm having fun with this!

I have been keeping emails that come from your private emails, if towards the cut off date I seem to be missing any emails with your addresses, I will be sure to let you know. My poor old goddess needs some pampering tonight - sheesh!
ummmmm a nice bag of chocolate truffles, a few good magazines, some herbal teas....... so many things that are manna to the soul!
