When exactly do we mail our swap stuff in? After Thanksgiving?

Kathy!! I'm getting the impression that we haven't missed the date but what should we do??? I hope you are alright!! I sense that you've had a lot going on. Let me know if you would like me to take over the match-ups for exchanges.. I'd be delighted to do it...I've never participated in anything like this..Tasha, YES YES YES!! In fact, I may have to send you something for Yule! I'm going to find your email and send you an email of sign I made for Goddess Fest this year..I'll check in later!
Many smiles to you all,

Hi Goddess gals, I have a suggestion. Shall we leave "Our Goddess Within" an ongoing topic...probably move it out of the holiday category.
We can discuss what we are doing to nuture ourselves or empower our spirits through our Goddess within. I like the idea. We can still continue some sort of swap or small token exchanges even after this holiday...or just emails, notes, experiences along this line of topic.
I lived in Alaska for many years and experienced the Native American tribe spirituality and the power and respect given woman, ceremonies, feathers, stones, etc. Would love to tell ya more.

Hi Gals - Haven't forgotten you just have had a lot going on with my and my husband's health and my dog that had surgery. If you all could do me one final favor I will get the exchange names right out to you. Please just email me once more with your name (and online ID too) and adddress to my private email addy so I can begin the process of matching up partners. If there is anything that offends you and you would not like it included with a gift to you, please let me know. Also if you have any allergies to any thing, be sure to let me know also. Please put in email subject line - Goddess Within Exchange
Sorry to have to ask again for addresses, but my mind has been in a million directions at once.
Blessed be,
Kathy of the Enchanted Wood

Kathy,

I don't have your private email address so I sent it through the email on your profile section here. Please let me know if it didn't come through. Thanks again for doing this!

I think waiting until after the new year to send anything in might be a great idea. I don't know right now where I would find the time for anything, however I do not think that taking this out of holidays is a good idea because there are Goddess celebrations all over the world on any given day of the year. making a celebration for the Goddess' spirit in ourselves is no exception to that. in fact, it's something I celebrate and revere daily (today it's Quan Yin.) I think a number of other women here who worship Goddesses just might say the same thing....

Okay, so far I have the following names and addys for the exchange - when I have everyone (I have emailed those I do not have yet) I will match up with partners. Tasha Rose, it will be up to you and your partner to decide when you want to exchange. If it is okay with everyone I do think it would be nice to get something out after Thanksgiving but before Christmas - but you can all discuss that with your individual partners. I also think this thread is fine for this forum. Linda, great idea about having it as a seperate discussion. Sounds like you have lots to contribute!
Okay I have: Cheryl, Debi, Elaine, Julia and Tasha Rose

Can we email our partner about timing? I have been just beat up this weekend with one thing and the other....are we aiming for Yule or just when ever the spirit strikes us?

Gals, we have one more person that just sent in her address, would someone like to volunteer to pick up another single partner? Email me and let me know and I will give you her address and give her yours.
Thanks

This is gonna be a lot of fun! With stress and frayed nerves from the big bad world of holiday season consumeritis and the frantic pace, we all need a bit of extra pampering

Annika- I am getting close to finishing yours;) Hopefully it will ease your nerves a bit- I have almost entirely avoided consumerism while putting it together which has been lovely for me!
Happy Thanksgiving-

This holiday I am most thankful for the generous spirit of my friends and that I have many beautiful friends to spoil in turn!

Rebekka Mae, I am ashamed to admit that with all things going on and cleaning up the first stage of serious remodeling, I've only gotten yours partially put together and have to hare around Saturday getting this and that bit. You wouldn't believe what a mess remodeling makes of your life. LOL! my inner goddess is tearing her hair out. So likely a week, hopefully before.
