Not to be a holiday-jumper, but it's occured to me there's not a whole lot of time to put together Christmas gifts! I sat down today and worked on my gift-giving list, and created a to-do and supply shopping list so I can get started. A few of the things I'm making this year:
- Beer bread kits - Felt play food - Photo albums - Hand-milled peppermint soap - Chocolate-covered pretzel sticks with sprinkles - Baking measurement magnets - Craft templates/projects CD - Photo postcards - Brownie mix
What's on the to-do list for everyone else?

Hand-milled peppermint soap?? I would love to know how to do that. My mom had bartered for some home made soap a while back and I loved it. Would be great if I could give it a try. Sounds like your to-do list is doing well. Lets see on mine: mostly all sewing projects: kitten baskets aprons tea towels and quilts for now. I haven't had much time to come up with a good list yet...lol...Just taking it little by little so I don't get overwhelmed. hugs jessie

I think everyone on my list is getting a crocheted rag rug. That or a tatted hankie. :-)

I am making quilts for my sons and niece, brother-in-law and sister, and my mom. We'll see if I get close to getting any of these done:) My niece's I am working on the quilting, my sister & bro-in-law's needs a border and then will be ready to quilt. One of my son's has the fabric cut out and my mom's has some of the fabric cut. My other son's I haven't started, but have bought the fabric. I am also making yoyo dolls for the kids. I don't know what else I'll make. Last year I did beaded jewelry and knitted hats and scarves. |

Hoo, I'm not sure yet. I'm considering making my husband a lap quilt, and knitting a sweater for my friend's Blythe doll, but apart from that I really have no idea. I'd better get planning, lol!
