I just wanted to show off the first pair of baby legs I made. It only took about 15 minutes to make to make them out of ladies knee hi socks. I gave them to my neighbor to try on her little girl. I'm hoping to hear a good report on them this week so that I can make some ahead of time for my baby due in early Jan.

They are seperate Leggings to pull on each leg instead of dealing with a waist band and rise area.

NIN!!!!! Nice to see you here. I looked at your wedding pix awhile back......following a link from Malphi's blog. Your shoes were soooo gorgeous. That dress too...oh my :) How's your apartment cleaning coming along?

Thanks! The baby legs should be very helpful for diaper changing time. You don't have to take them off when you go to change the baby. One less step equals is always a good thing.
I can't take credit for the pattern, but I'll put the link on here to the flickr directions/ photos. Super easy to follow and she even has a cute photo of her baby wearing the pair she made.

How cute, and oh-so-practical! No one to make them for, but thanks for sharing the idea!

Thank you for posting this! I went out yesterday and got 2 pair of socks and spent about 15 minutes to make 2 sets for a friend who just recently had a baby. I can't wait to give them to her! What a neat idea!
